Can I scan the diamond with my phone?
Scan the matching code printed on your card or certificate with your phone. No app is needed. Reading the microscopic code on the diamond itself requires suitable magnification. The diamond’s code remains with your jewelry, watch or accessory if the card is lost.
Who can create a Q-L code?
Only Q-L creates unique tag IDs and records them in the central registry. Jewelers, retailers and brands can register and assign existing Q-L tags. They cannot create new tag IDs.
Is the content on my tag private?
Anyone who scans a tag can view its linked content. Managing or changing the tag requires sign-in and the appropriate permissions. Keep private personal information off the public content. Q-L counts scans without storing IP addresses.
